A machine that cost $8,500.00 is fully depreciated; it had no salvage value. It no longer works, so today the company scraps it: it is hauled away free of charge and nothing is received for it.

Assumptions: Depreciation is accumulated in Accumulated Depreciation. No disposal costs and no proceeds.
